Recap and evaluation What could we have done better, what needs improvement
Participant 1
I would like to congratulate Sulah on his way of facilitating the meeting. It was very fruitful but we needed more time to internalize issues discussed in a relaxed way. Pledge to all network leaders: let’s make the registration process as fast as we can as there is support to conduct our activities. The Burundi Community Telecenrte Network pledges to include call centres in our work
Participant 2
The meeting went beyond what I expected. I enjoyed the meeting. It was interactive. It was good to hear from people from other networks and share from the perspective of UgaBYTES and hear what other people have to say. I suggest that we have serious follow-up of all the issues especially beginning with the registration as the legal status is giving us some limitation. All issues especially the community engagement plan should be followed up immediately. The schedule was tight but we have learnt a lot and we shouldn’t forget about the meeting
Participant 3
First congs on a job well done. The meeting was well planned and coordinated. The content was very deep. Involved what a telecentre network comprised of and I would like to say you have done a great job. It was a tight schedule. In workshops there is a gap for relaxation. Though this was meant for business you have done quite a lot and our members and networks are going to benefit. We should have more time for relaxation and sight seeing

Hospitality: The treatment from the UgaBYTES staff and members was very warm and hospitable and I appreciate that. Our relationship with other staff was so caring. We had good meals. We are staying in a classic hotel and we are impressed. When coming down here, I didn’t expect the fruits of the meeting to the network and the telecentres. Our network is still infant and when I get back I shall provide the report and am sure they will be very happy. What we discussed here will encourage the association of the network and telecentre staff eg staff exchange programs, telecentre academy that will go a long way to provide capacity building 2. I encourage improvement of the meeting facilities eg some cables are missing, ensure internet is in place all the time. 3. I beg fellow network leaders to appreciate what UgaBYTES is doing as it is vital to the telecentre movement.
Participant 5
I have benefited from this exchange program. As an organisation we had our projections regarding this. Some of the issues that were discussed, I found them fulfilling. What has been done and put in place for the community is very good. The telecentre academy and content facilitation is a very good idea. Time management has been followed. Am glad with the outcomes.
